A domestic abuse call to 999 every 30 seconds. Three lives lost to suicide every week of women experiencing domestic abuse. 1 in 5 teenagers experiencing abuse every year. These aren't just statistics; they are an unacceptable reality.

Cactus Cares is a community-driven organisation dedicated to eradicating domestic abuse through early intervention, systemic advocacy and changing the narrative. Grounded in both lived and learned experience, we work across sectors to disrupt harmful behaviours at their roots and build safer, more resilient communities.

Identifying & Filling Gaps: Stepping in where existing overstretched support systems fall short to design agile, purpose-built initiatives that address unmet needs.
 

People-Led Movement Building: Creating collaborative spaces and platforms that empower individuals and communities to actively spot, call out, and prevent abusive behaviours.
 

Systemic Narrative Shifts: Influencing policy, organisational culture, and public conversations to ensure survivors are unconditionally believed and supported.
